I have been in recruitment now for just under 20 years and managing director of Supernova for 10 of those years. My aim when I set up Supernova Resourcing was very simple - to remain fiercely independent, providing quality staffing solutions for organisations at a highly competitive price.


There really is nothing more to recruitment and if any recruitment company tells you otherwise, they are lying. I’ve crafted a like minded hard working team here to deliver these goals and the fact that we consistently ruffle the feathers of multi-million pound national recruiters, tells me we are doing something right.

Having previously enjoyed a career in the social and child care sector, I have an excellent insight into the hands on work our candidates do daily. This means I have built great rapport and relationships with our candidates and clients alike.


No day is the same working with a vast amount of clients who have different requirements of the type of candidate we provide. I pride myself on been able to source the correct candidates with the right attitude, experience and qualifications for our clients. The challenging and fast paced environment gives me great sense of achievement.


Compliance Officer

After graduating from university I went on to work in the care industry. Whilst there I had a variety of rolls, fitting in with business requirements, I mainly covered accounts, auditing and recruitment. This gave me a vast knowledge of the business and widened my skill set. I found organisation and customer care was a massive strength of mine and wanted to focus more so on one particular job role that incorporated these skills.

I recently started working at Supernova as their recruitment compliance officer. I have transferred my skills to Supernova to ensure excellent standards of compliance are delivered to clients, whilst also building great relationships with candidate and client alike. I am relishing the new challenges Supernova Resourcing has given me and I am thoroughly enjoying working with such a great and dedicated team.

Recruitment Coordinator

My background is in all areas of care. I started working in the care industry when I was 18 working as a Care assistant in the community, from there I widened my skill set by moving into a care home while I was studying for my Early Years degree at university. Once I graduated from university I went to work in a nursery where I worked my way up to become a room leader. After working in the. Nursery environment for some time I knew I wanted to challenge myself.


So, I moved to a Domiciliary care company where I operated as a Recruitment Coordinator for the company as well as doing business development, having all these skills sets from my different backgrounds in the care industry I have been able to transfer them to my role as a recruitment consultant for Supernova. I assist with scheduling shifts with our clients as well as assisting with candidate enquiries to booking interviews. I enjoy building professional relationships with our clients, so they feel confident booking Support workers through us.
